Bringing my thoughts and ideas to fruition is where I am challenged as an artist. My paintings are composed of a combination of mediums including canvas, acrylic paint, hot wax, cement, plaster, sculptures, found industrial objects, and space that in concert creates art that is all at once fluid and steadfast. I constantly examine the world around me for new ideas and visual clues to enhance my work. Through my relationship to the world, I am able to create art that is complex, unique and yet still simple.
